HI, I'M SHAYLA

I’m the creator of The Green Witches Facebook page, the owner of The Green Witches Shoppe, and a practicing Pagan Christian Witch (yes, it is a thing—and yes, we do exist). I live in Waco, Texas with my husband, three children, and what can only be described as a small, chaotic zoo of beloved animals.
With over twelve years of experience in the mental health field, and my own lived experience with depression, anxiety, OCPD, and ADHD, I am deeply committed to the importance of open conversations, therapy, medication when appropriate, and community support.
When my mother passed away in October of 2022, I found myself feeling lost and broken. In an effort to stay connected to her, I turned inward and began nurturing the same deep love for plants that she had. Caring for my houseplants became a grounding practice, and watching them grow helped me begin to do the same.
From that healing space, The Green Witches community was born. What began as a place to share plant knowledge quickly grew into a safe, inclusive sanctuary for those seeking connection, understanding, and acceptance without fear of ridicule —especially for individuals whose spiritual practices are often misunderstood.
Whatever your beliefs, I’m truly glad you’ve found your way to my little world. Thank you for supporting my small business and this community I hold so close to my heart.
